What is a portion tray?

Portion Trays are food-safe plastic moulded trays to accommodate individual portions of various ingredients used in a made-to-order sandwich business.

Available in black.

Each tray measures 34cm x 24cm x 5cm and contains 12 dips.

Why use a Portion Tray?

If you are reading this you are probably having the same issues which led us to develop this portion tray. We run a number of made-to-order sandwich shops and portioning was always an issue for two main reasons – cost and consistency of the finished product.

We had tried the little individual black pots, but these were difficult to clean properly and could not be put into a dishwasher – so you either washed them by hand (more wages cost) or threw them away after one use, which was both expensive and bad for the environment.

The introduction of the Portion Trays gave us an instant solution to these problems. Customers were happy that they were getting a more consistent sandwich and our costs were reduced significantly as a result of the use of these trays.(Our main cooked meat supplier asked us whether we were buying products elsewhere......)
